Find out about the new Honda Pilot 2005 model

The 2005 Honda Pilot sees some improvements over previous models, with added power and new features.

This popular midsize SUV is nearly identical to Acura's MDX, sharing its chassis and powertrain, but not quite as costly. As before, the Honda Pilot 2005 model is available in three trims: base LX, EX, and top-of-the-line EX-L.

Some of the new features:

1. The only available 3.5-liter V6 engine now comes with 255 horsepower, as opposed to 240 on previous models.

2. A tire pressure is a new feature on all Honda Pilot 2005 models.

3. The EX-L model gets a standard anti-skid brake system.

4. Fuel capacity is increased from 19.2 gallons to 20.4 gallons for 2005.

Overall, our initial 2005 Honda Pilot reviews are favorable, although we have not test driven these vehicles. Increased power and added features are definitely a plus. Hopefully, curtain side airbags will be added soon, but with Honda's reliability and refinement, we can't complain.

We will provide more information on this vehicle as well as other new models as we gather information from our visitors and our own test drives.
